"Quintin went off at 43, to Midland Bank's 37, and led by 2 lengths at the ¼ mile. They led by 2½ lengths at the Barrier and held that to the Mile. They finished at 36 and gained fast." [HRR]

Thur 30 June beat Maidenhead 3½ L 2.07 3.35 7.31

"Quintin went steadily ahead. They had 2 lengths at the ¼ mile, 3 lengths at Fawley and 4 lengths at the Mile." [HRR]

Fri 1 July (QF) lost to St Thomas's Hospital 3 L 2.10* 3.38 7.36

"Quintin went of at 45, continued at 39 and led by ¾ length at the ¼ mile. They kept on at a high rate, but St Thomas's, at 34, were level at the ½ mile and led by ½ length at Fawley.
