Quite an eventful Henley for this crew. Firstly, Sam Broadhurst was unable to compete in the qualifying race due to illness, and was replaced by Alex Page on the agreement with the Henley Stewards that Sam could row in the regatta proper should the crew qualify. Secondly, although the crew qualified and Sam took his seat in the boat, the crew was not allowed to race, being disqualified for infringing regatta rules (practising on the course while racing was still in progress). Although Sam was in the crew for the regatta proper, the official programme for Wednesday, 27th June showed Alex's name.
