In 1965 the same crew had also won the Clinker Division pennant and were 4th overall in a time of 13 min. 28 sec. Also in 1965 a four containing John Peters, Hugh Wardell-Yerburgh (subbing for Malcolm Sheppard, who had an ankle injury), Pat Barry and Lionel Bailey were Overall Winners in 13 min. 0 sec. making Quintin Head of the River for the second year running (1964 and 1965), the second of a run of four.

The crew are wearing the distinctive blue singlets with white diagonal stripes, introduced in the summer of 1966. Alec also sports Skiff Club colours.
