Winners of Vet E Coxed Fours meet the Mayor of Spelthorne at Staines Regatta 2005. This followed up their win in the Vet D/E category in 2004 (with Geoff Peel for Charlie Harrison), when they beat the favoured Staines Boat Club Vet D crew by 2 lengths over the 500m. course, with the unnecessary benefit of a 4 sec. handicap. Staines had won Vet D at National Veterans that year.
