Roy Davies sets off in rather unseasonable weather. The race, as its name suggests, is a ten-mile run largely following the river towpath. It is an event organised annually by West 4 Harriers, who are resident at the Polytechnic Boathouse. Roy came 82nd out of 337 in a time of 1 hour 13 min. 35 sec. Results here.
